The squad.

Aryn Thompson, LCSW-S

Hey, I am the owner of this little practice. I am a board certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Texas with supervisor status. My Master’s degree in Social Work helps me in my social justice oriented practice. I am LGBTQIA+ informed, anti-racist, anti-diet culture, pro-self care.

I specialize in gender and sexuality, with over 7 years experience serving my LGBTQIA+ community. I feel strongly that shared experience helps people feel safe and seen in the therapy room. Using a relational approach, I believe that majority of therapeutic healing happens with human connection. This means I show up as human with my clients. You can expect accountability as well as empathy. I engage in the therapy conversation to allow reflection of your emotions. My specialization in queer matters is combined with treatment of complex trauma, mood, and personality disorders.

I have WPATH standard training in providing gender care letters. I can facilitate navigating social transition, exploring gender and sexuality, and just general self exploration through a queer lens.

If you are navigating symptoms of a mood disorder, looking to improve your attachment style, or needing a safe place to explore gender/sexuality, I got you. My success is in cultivating a better connection with yourself that leads to the fulfillment you are looking for in your life. I work to establish a sense of safety before beginning trauma work.

Stephanie Martinez, LMSW

I am a Master’s level social worker under clinical supervision.

I'm a lesbian Xicana, born and raised in the borderland region of El Paso, TX. I offer a therapeutic space that is queer-affirming, culturally responsive, and liberation-centered.

As a therapist, I create a curious, compassionate, and non-judgmental space for those who are ready to explore themselves and their experiences through a relational lens. Together, we will explore and model what secure attachment and safe relationships feel like within the therapeutic space - toward ourselves, our experiences, our communities, our ancestors, and the natural/spiritual world.

I use an integrative approach to weave ancestral practices, somatic embodiment, and expressive art therapeutic techniques. We will explore and transform the relationship you have with your shame, anger/rage, fear, and grief. Then move towards deep compassion, liberation, and connection.

We will intentionally explore and challenge the impact of colonial legacies and how intergenerational trauma affects your overall health and well-being. We will honor how your own lived experiences and identities influence the connection between your mind, body, and spirit. I will encourage you to self-determine your own healing process and co-create solutions that align with your authentic self.

Orren Baskin, LPC

I enjoy working with people of all ages, especially children and adolescents providing individual, sibling, and family therapy. My approach to the therapy relationship is trauma-informed and person-centered, utilizing play therapy, narrative therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. I work with clients who are struggling to adjust to changes in their life or who are needing more support to face challenges such as divorce, blending families, adoption, grief and loss, abuse and neglect, anxiety, depression, and attention difficulties and developmental delays in young children. I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming provider and am happy to serve gender, sexual, and relationship minorities.

Arisela Thompson, LMSW

I am a Master’s level social worker under clinical supervision.

I work with young adults looking for an alternative approach to improve their mental health. An integrative and functional approach focuses on sleep, nutrition, and movement to achieve mental health goals. I use this intervention to address symptoms of depression, ADHD, anxiety, and stress. The individuals I work with are seeking to reduce symptoms of anxiety, increase emotional regulation, and boost their mood and energy levels.

I am a Master’s level social worker under clinical supervision. I provide a trauma informed and non judgmental space for individuals to feel safe to process. I use a strengths based approach to identify the current symptoms you would like to improve. We then explore sleep habits, nutritional habits, and movement, which we will make adjustments to as needed.

We can work together to connect mental and physical health in a way that promotes your overall well-being.
